We also offer a Dog taxi service to your preferred groomers if your busy life gets in the way of your pet looking and feeling their best. (By arrangement)

At A Dogs Trail, we are passionate about your pet's fitness and well-being, with over 40 years of experience in pet care and ownership.
We treat your furry friend as our own. We understand that each dog is unique and may have different needs, such as socialization, nervous behaviours, frustration behaviours, overstimulation, and boredom.
We offer a no-obligation interview to understand your dog's needs, design a plan for your furry friend and answer any questions you may have.
We utilize the beautiful beaches, forests, and council dog-dedicated parks around the general Christchurch area to provide your dog with a stimulating and enjoyable experience.
Large and Small dogs are arranged into appropriate walking groups.
A fun and social way to get your furry friend some immersive fun and exercise?
Our walking service matches dogs with similar personalities and energy levels so they can walk together, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Our group walking sessions include pick-up and drop-off at your location, ensuring your dog gets the most exercise possible.
The typical away time will be approximately three to four hours, depending on pick-up and drop-off locations around the city.
Trust us to care for your precious pet, and for your peace of mind, we carry
First Aid certified, First Aid Kits, and have insurance coverage for any unforeseen issues or accidents.
Certified; Behavioural and K-9 training accredited.
Police checked staff (MOJ), which are available upon request.​

A Dogs Trail is based in Northwood Christchurch and services all areas, including Rangiora, Pegasus, and Kaipoi. Pick-up and drop-off are included in our pricing.
